I was born and raised in the Mid-Coast area, spent the first few years of undergrad in the Mid-west before returning home where I graduated from USM with a BA in Political Science in 2007, and the University of Maine School of Law in 2012.
While in law school I developed an interest in markets and labor economics, and want to use this blog as a means of using those interests to add to the policy debates surrounding Maine’s economy. Specifically, my goal is to blog a few times a week on a variety of issues regarding Maine’s economy, but with a focus on the labor market.
I’ve worked in both the public and private sectors, in various roles within the legal industry, and, as with most college grads, spent my time in food service/retail. Currently, I am working with a small business services company in the Mid-Coast area.
